TMS students participated in the 49th TubaChristmas at Southpark Mall today. Konner Whitlatch, Mr. Dusty Johnson, Noah Johnson, Emersen Coppess, Remy Dix, and Eric Contraras played 14 Christmas Carols with 100 other area euphonium and tuba players.
The Tiger boys wrestlers placed third today at the
Oelwein Invitational. Tristin Sorgenfrey, Gavin Sorgenfrey, Aiden Graves, and Braden Bartels finished as runner-up. Cole Kime, Kael Chapman, Wyatt Lashmit and Lucas Sutton finished 3rd.
The Middle School Kindness Crew is hoping to get some holiday spirit going as we finish out 2022. We're having Dress Up days from Dec 15 - Dec 21 (see attached). We're also having a door decorating contest as well for the different grades. If anyone has items you can send with your student next week. We're not expecting you to go out and buy stuff, but if when you decorated at home if your looking to downsize your stuff we're looking for lightweight or plastic items that will easily hang or stay taped to a door...

Seniors in government caucused for their "candy-date" of the year to learn about how to become president of the United States. After going through all of the election process, each class had selected their own candy elect. It was a fun hands on learning experience!

Congratulations to Tristin and Gavin Sorgenfrey who placed 1st at the Tipton Invitational today. Also, Colin Nash, Michael Puffer, and Jayson Johnson who finished as runner-up. As a team the Tigers finished 4th.
The Tigerettes Dance Team took their state pom, state lyrical, and five solo routines to state dance this past Thursday. The team took home division I titles for their pom and lyrical routine. Jazmine Woode, Ashlyn Voss, and Danica Rippentrop received division I titles for their solos as well. As a team, the Tigerettes received the award for distinguished academics for team GPA 3.5-4.0! Way to go ladies!
